Analyst, Custom Research | Media, Sports & Entertainment We’re looking for an Analyst, Custom Research to join a dynamic Media, Sports & Entertainment team in Culver City, CA. If you have 2+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field, this is an exciting opportunity to manage research projects, analyze consumer data, develop client-facing reports, and deliver insights that shape the future of media and entertainment. What You’ll Do: Support and lead the execution of custom research projects from survey design through final reporting Manage project timelines, budgets, internal teams, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes Communicate project updates, respond to client requests, and collaborate with senior team members to build strong client relationships Develop surveys, including question wording, survey flow, programming, and logic Pull, process, validate, and analyze data using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies Conduct quality control and data validation to ensure accurate, reliable, and complete research findings Create clear, compelling client reports by identifying trends, developing insights, and building cohesive data-driven narratives Develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI Collaborate with Operations, Product, Marketing, and other teams on company-wide initiatives and thought leadership Apply knowledge of sampling, survey design, statistical analysis, and market research methodologies across a variety of projects What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field 2+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field; media, entertainment, or technology experience is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and confidently Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar visualization tools is a plus Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines Detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working independently when needed Passion for consumer behavior, media consumption, and using research to influence business decisions Top performers are analytical thinkers, strong communicators, highly organized, and curious about consumer behavior.
