Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 18 months recent Med/Surg Tele experience - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse for a winter coverage assignment. This position involves the care of patients who may float to various units, depending on operational needs. Shifts will rotate between nights and days, with hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM and 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Travel nurses are expected to work at least every other holiday. Two assessments will be conducted during the onboarding process with a maximum of two attempts to pass. All required certifications must be active and in hand before starting. Nurses will need to comply with specific health guidelines and undergo necessary background screenings. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population and may require adaptation to unit needs.
