Robert Half Legal is partnering with a small property management/commercial real estate company, seeking a contracts administrator with real estate experience. This company manages over 3 million square feet of properties around Southern California.
Please do not apply without a familiarity with commercial leases (reviewing/redlining, not drafting/negotiating). This contracts administrator will work onsite in Irvine daily. Please do not apply if you do not leave adjacent to Irvine or want hybrid/remote work. An ideal candidate will have worked at a smaller real estate or property management company, not a large one.
Daily duties include:
o Assist property managers with lease preparation: filling out forms from templates, managing schedules, adding addendums, and entering data for lease renewals
o Manage lease files and property files
o Work closely with property managers generating reports about property
o Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
o Data entry projects for leases and properties
The company is very family-oriented and stable; many employees have been there 20, 30, or 40 years! This role offers cross-training with someone RHL placed over two years ago who was promoted into a new role!
• At least 1 year of experience in contract administration or lease administration.
• Working knowledge of contract revisions and management.
• Familiarity with leases and real estate or property management processes is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry, document preparation, and routine correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain careful attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a small office at a family-run company.
• Ability to work in Irvine daily.
