Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work, primarily in the patients' homes, providing a unique opportunity to build a rapport with clients in their familiar environments. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Renown Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring optimal health and mobility.
• Providing consultations to other healthcare professionals regarding a patient's continuum of care.
• Implementing treatment strategies and regularly re-evaluating patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Mentoring and supervising support staff, ensuring high standards of care.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment, and progress notes in compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
• Engaging in community outreach and participating in departmental leadership functions, such as marketing and program development.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, to enhance patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those with chronic illnesses, and elderly patients experiencing mobility challenges. Each treatment plan will be tailored to address the unique needs of each client, promoting autonomy while providing support in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, vital for patient interactions and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience
