Snelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with an interest in joining a facilities maintenance team at an automotive plant on the southside of San Antonio.


FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PAY/SCHEDULE/BENEFITS:


Starting at $23.50/hr+ depending on experience
No rotating shifts
Schedule: Training Saturday - Wednesday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
1st Thursday - Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
2nd Thursday - Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Weekly direct deposit
Short conversion term from contract to offer of employment

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:
Repair dock doors, including overhead doors, high-speed roll-up doors, and coiling doors
Restroom maintenance
Pump maintenance, greasing, and lubrication
Basic electrical troubleshooting of assembly line equipment
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
Troubleshoot equipment that does not require a special license or certificate


FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Submit to a criminal background check
Submit to a drug screen
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must currently own or be willing to purchase steel-toe boots
Be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Must have reliable transportation (no public transportation available)
Possess a valid driver's license
All schedules for this position (full-time or part-time) can include mandatory Saturdays and/or Sundays
Facial tattoos or piercings must be removable or able to be covered during the shift
Must have basic knowledge in ALL of the following areas:
Electrical: Working knowledge of fixtures and outlets
Carpentry: Drywall and painting
Plumbing: Commercial working knowledge
HVAC knowledge
Must be able to safely operate the following equipment:
Boom lift
Forklift
Scissor lift
This position requires you to perform tasks such as:
Being on your feet in a very warm, humid manufacturing environment
Performing industrial maintenance repairs on facility structures
