This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, enabling you to provide counseling from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection with clients. You will also have access to our outpatient office facilities for client meetings as needed, ensuring a collaborative workspace when face-to-face interactions are required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Advocate for patients and their families by guiding them through the complexities of the health care system, ensuring their rights and needs are prioritized.

• Facilitate understanding by reinforcing educational materials and therapeutic teachings to improve client/family knowledge about mental health and treatment processes.

• Diagnose mental health disorders using evidence-based practices, completing thorough assessments to inform treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored uniquely to each patient’s circumstances, ensuring they resonate with their personal goals and situations.

• Engage with clients on a regular basis to provide ongoing counseling, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs and emerging challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT within our organization, you will primarily work with diverse populations including couples, families, and individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, relationship dysfunction, trauma, and life transitions. You will play a vital role in fostering a therapeutic alliance that enables clients to express their concerns and motivations, ultimately leading to healing and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• Current valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) along with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, particularly in settings that prioritize supportive therapeutic relationships.

• Strong understanding and adherence to privacy regulations and health care safety laws to protect client confidentiality.

• Exceptional coaching skills to support clients in instigating positive life changes and navigating their emotional landscapes.

• Organizational abilities that ensure maintenance of up-to-date, easily navigable patient records and documentation, compliant with all regulatory standards.

• Proficient therapeutic and counseling skills, showcasing the ability to inspire and motivate clients throughout their healing journeys.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement stands at 2 years, candidates with additional experience in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as CBT or play therapy, will be highly regarded. Experience in multicultural counseling and an understanding of systemic issues affecting families will provide an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
