Step into an impactful role supporting students as a school-based Physical Therapist for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract opportunity focuses on working with elementary-aged children near Los Angeles, CA, providing care and interventions that help young learners reach their fullest potential. With a 40-hour workweek, your schedule will be either 7:30-4:00 pm or 8:00-4:30 pm, allowing for a predictable routine while making a significant difference day to day.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California
• Previous experience with pediatric or elementary school populations is highly preferred
• Understanding of best practices in school-based physical therapy
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to design and implement age-appropriate therapeutic interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
• Conduct assessments and develop goals tailored to each student's individual needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and documentation as a valued team member
• Communicate with teachers and families regarding progress and recommendations
• Maintain thorough, timely records for evaluations, progress reporting, and compliance
