Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique functional goals.
• Utilize a variety of hands-on manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to treat orthopedic conditions, facilitating pain relief and mobility restoration.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and chiropractors, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide ongoing patient education, focusing on home exercise programs, ergonomic practices, and lifestyle modifications to promote independent recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using electronic health records (EHR) to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapeutic environment, adhering to all state and federal regulations while ensuring an optimal patient experience.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to the overall improvement of practice quality and patient outcomes by sharing insights and clinical experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role will be primarily on outpatient clientele with a spectrum of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the privilege of helping patients regain their physical capabilities and independence while providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary for maintaining their health post-treatment.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent accredited program.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy methodologies and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest therapeutic practices.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
