Work Environment

Your new workplace is a contemporary outpatient office located in the heart of Los Angeles. The setting promotes collaboration among two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation. Our weekdays run from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance while fulfilling our commitment to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions and establish personalized treatment goals that align with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused care and attention.
• Utilize diverse treatment modalities, developing tailored rehabilitation programs that address each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to enhance physical function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.
• Incorporate evidence-based interventions and promote holistic treatment plans that reduce reliance on medications and invasive surgical procedures.
• Design and adapt fitness and wellness programs to motivate patients, enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals—including physicians and occupational therapists—to optimize care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Promote health education and lifestyle modifications to support long-term recovery and prevent future injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold a valid physical therapist license issued in the state of California.
• A clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and effective communication skills.
• Ability to navigate electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, with familiarity in systems such as WebPT being advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing patient-specific exercise regimens that lead to measurable improvements.
• Strong competency in collaborative practice with healthcare teams, highlighting your capability to align patient care efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
