Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Consult with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for patients.
• Provide educational guidance to patients and family members about treatments, rehabilitation processes, and home exercises.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and collaborate on patient care strategies.
• Supervise and mentor rehabilitation aides and support staff, fostering a learning environment where best practices are shared.
• Engage in community outreach efforts and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and organizational efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will provide care to a broad demographic, including children, adults, and older adults, which will require a tailored approach to treatment based on each individual's unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds. This role is crucial in fostering connections with patients, understanding their needs, and guiding them towards optimal recovery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure in Physical Therapy in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
