Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain precise general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Analyze financial statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Record, categorize, and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions.
• Prepare detailed expense reports and variance analyses.
• Assist with vendor invoice processing and optimize vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and overall efficiency.
• Serve as a mentor to colleagues on accounting practices.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to standards.
• Support internal and external audits with comprehensive documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in general accounting; experience in fast-paced environments preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software as a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Highly reliable and able to excel in a fast-paced, in-office setting.
• An interest in aviation is advantageous.
