Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated CNA/GNA for a float pool position within LTC/SNF settings. The role involves providing direct patient care across various adult and geriatric units, with flexibility to float between different facilities and units based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in adult and geriatric units, adhering to established protocols.
• Float across ICU, LTAC, LTC, skilled nursing, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Behavioral Health, rehabilitation, and Stepdown/PCU units as needed.
• Complete daily assignments based on patient acuity, unit needs, and staffing requirements.
• Maintain active certification and ensure compliance with all facility policies on attendance and time management.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing required training modules.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland GNA certification required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNA/GNA experience, or 1 year with relevant certification.
• Valid Maryland or Compact state license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and 12-hour shifts.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
