Make a meaningful impact while supporting students’ educational journeys as an experienced paraprofessional! This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers and staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students in a dynamic school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting activities for diverse learners
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Professionalism and adaptability in a busy educational environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, under teacher direction
- Support classroom activities and instructional goals set by teachers and specialists
- Help manage classroom behavior and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment
- Assist in implementing lesson plans and adapting materials as needed
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional periods
- Facilitate inclusion and encourage student participation in academic and social activities
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold all school policies

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $35.52. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
