Find out how you can Make It Possible: Fireman Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities Maintenance - Sat - Wed (3:30PM - 11:30PM) This role is for nights/weekends Saturday to Wednesday 3:30PM - 11:30PM. In this role, this position requires strong building maintenance knowledge (HVAC/R, Electrical and Plumbing). Preferred Criteria: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering degree Previous High pressure steam experience Required Criteria: High School Diploma or GED /Trade School or specialty school. G71 Certificate of Fitness is required within three months of employment FDNY Certificate of Fitness P-98 Fuel Oil Piping and Bulk Storage required within 6 months of starting in role FDNY Certificate of Fitness A-35 Operate and Maintain Air Compressors required within 6 months of starting in role FDNY- Certificate of Fitness S-95 Supervision of Fire Alarms Systems required within 6 months of starting in role Basic computer literacy.
