We then trust you to show up on time, ready to work, and get the job done right!* Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted* Preference may be given to people with prior distribution center/warehouse or furniture experience* Receive freight and stock freight* Pull and prepare furniture for delivery companyKEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned): • Prepare and unbox the product to La-Z-Boy specifications. Review product against paperwork to check for order completeness and accuracy • Assist in the loading and unloading of furniture and accessories on and off trucks which includes operating power equipment on occasion. Occasionally move up to 350 pounds on a two wheel dolly • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Other duties as required by management, to include product prep, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, 5S responsibilities, attending company required training and committee participation • Warehouse I associate will be responsible for scanning furniture when receiving, moving, or loading into the computer system. Receive returned furniture from the delivery trucks and place in the correct locations.
