Systems Engineer

You will be the Systems Engineer for the Vehicle Systems Engineering team which is responsible for delivering reliable, high‑performance aircraft to production. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues on aircraft in production. Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for production and fleet issues. Coordinate and lead test events on production aircraft to support development activities. Update and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, ensuring compliance with drafting standards and configuration management. Develop and manage MBSE models (SysML) and maintain requirements traceability using tools such as IBM DOORS. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related STEM discipline. Experience in 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Teamcenter Vis Mockup). Knowledge of F‑35 Vehicle Systems (EPS, PTMS, HUA, FCS, etc.). Familiarity with a production and/or flightline environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues. Experience using F‑35 Product Data Manager (PDM) and F‑35 Joint Electrical Design and Installation (JEDI). Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration. Self‑starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Security and Availability Must be a U.S. citizen. This position requires a government security clearance. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance at the start.
