Summary :

The perfect candidate loves interacting with people and establishes a rapport easily. Excellent communication skills are essential for success. The job requires spending a lot of time chatting with clients on the phone, online, and in person. It is important to proactively diffuse problems and manage new projects as well as basic customer business such as open orders. To be effective you must listen to customer needs and effectively explain how our services can satisfy those needs. It is important to be a trusted advisor to your customer.

From first contact with the customer to the completion of all their orders, you will act as the project manager for each new project. Internally, you work closely with the managers of each department to develop cohesive strategies and corresponding timelines for the new project. You will act as liaison between the lab, production operations and the customer. You will also manage all activities related to reorders for your assigned customers. You must be confident, self-assured and not afraid to ask questions to get the answers you need.

 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Manager (Project Manager / Customer Success Specialist) you must proactively manage all your accounts. You are the primary contact for your clients in building and maintaining a relationship with us. Your primary focus is on customer service, sales, and operations. You start each day excited to establish new relationships while continuing to nurture existing ones with your client contacts. You oversee/manage all contract manufacturing customers from concepts, PD, sales, shipments and forecasts. Create, review and approve company COGS, must be proficient with an ERP system and ensure high quality customer service. 

Duties

• Manage incoming business inquiries and provide customers with scope of capabilities and processes
• Work directly with R&D on custom formulas to meet efficacy, customer timelines and cost of goods requirements
• Coordinate with production, compounding, planning, warehouse and QC teams during batching, filling, and pack out
• Oversee project and timeline management, order entry, budgeting, and quality assurance for client accounts
• Supervise employee(s)
• Occasionally drive to manufacturing, WH and kitting warehouses
• Prepare concept pitches for new innovation to pitch to prospective clients
• Source design services, componentry, and raw materials in order to provide full turnkey product to clients
• Provide marketing and branding concepts including name exploration, ingredient trends, decoration treatments and finishes, and packaging copy

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant project management,
• Customer service experience with a high level of accountability
• Presentation and sales skills
• Microsoft Applications
• Experience with an ERP system
• Familiar with the beauty industry

Experience in the personal care, cosmetics, or fragrance industry is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Are you organized and able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks effectively? Work Schedule:

This is a full-time account management position with a typical Monday-Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm office schedule (Hybrid- 4 days in the office 1 at Home)

 

Pay up to $90,000/year
