• Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,000 annually

Job Description

The HR Generalist II independently supports a broad range of HR functions and serves as a resource to department managers and associates. This role handles routine to moderately complex associate relations matters, oversees the onboarding of new associates, supports performance management, helps ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, assists with compliance requirements, and supports engagement, retention, benefits, payroll, and employment status processes. The HR Generalist II exercises sound judgment while escalating complex or high-risk matters to the HR Director.

Essential Functions:

• Serving as a point-of-contact for associates and managers for guidance on Human Resource matters.
• Oversee the onboarding process including requesting, collecting and processing employment paperwork, as well as verifying compliance for licensing and credentialing of associates.
• Facilitates new hire orientation.
• Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
• Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field required (combination of education and experience may be considered).
• 3 years of progressive HR experience required.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is preferred.
• Experience with HR software
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently
