LPN LVN - Subacute at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 12-hour, Night shifts.

A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) implements delegated patient care functions under the direction of the Professional Registered Nurse and is supervised by a preceptor while assuming increasing responsibility during the fellowship. This individual performs these functions according to established hospital standards of nursing care.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of program for Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Upon hire: California Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• One (1) year as a licensed LVN, and moving into a new clinical area of practice including acute care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of course in Intravenous Therapy approved by the LVN Board.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
