Work Environment\n

This position is designed to accommodate the modern workforce, providing a remote work setting with minimal in-office requirements. You will primarily work outpatient within a dedicated therapy facility and engage with clients via a simple and effective video conferencing platform. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Utilize a variety of data-driven approaches to track each client's response to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to suit individual needs.

• Demonstrate flexibility in your therapeutic approach, tailoring interventions based on client responses and preferences.
\n
• Work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment to deliver compassionate and effective care.

• Conduct crisis management with professionalism and care, ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Exhibit strong diagnostic and clinical skills to assess and understand each client's unique challenges.

• Engage with electronic medical records (EMR) and remote communication technology to document treatment and maintain seamless client interactions.

• Provide comprehensive mental health services including diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, and behavior modification strategies, always collaborating with case management when necessary.

• Employ a range of psychotherapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic approaches, depending on client need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be focused on diverse individuals, including those experiencing major depressive disorder (MDD), anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and grief-related issues. You will collaborate with clients to create manageable treatment goals, thereby contributing to their personal growth and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Active and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor through LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW as required by state regulations.

• Experience utilizing a variety of psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with mental health disorders such as ADHD, PTSD, trauma, and others.
\n
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outpatient setting while managing interruptions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective client relationships.
\n
• Verification of no history of Medical Malpractice Claims through a Third Party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunshine Sanctuary offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
