Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and direct observation.
• Create individualized treatment plans addressing immediate goals and longer-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Implement personalized speech therapy interventions targeting language development, fluency, and voice rehabilitation.
• Partner collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure aligned care strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families to support ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.
• Maintain timely and precise documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of evidence-based practices through continual education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within the first 30 days of employment.
