Outstanding BC/BE Neonatologist Staff Relief/POOL Opportunity in Florida’s Palm Beach County

Nicklaus Children's Health System and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the health system’s physician‑led multispecialty group practice, have an exceptional POOL/Staff Relief opportunity for a board‑certified or board‑eligible (BC/BE) fellowship‑trained neonatologist with a minimum of three years of experience (preferred) for an established and respected Level II NICU located in Palm Beach County.

About the Neonatology Opportunity

Join a comprehensive perinatal and neonatal program for babies in a Level II NICU in a burgeoning market. Applicants should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children. The BC/BE neonatologists (3 years of experience highly preferred) will be responsible for:

• Attending deliveries
• 3,000+ deliveries per year
• Providing prenatal consultations to high‑risk babies
• Resuscitating and stabilizing newborns in the delivery room
• Rounding on well babies, as well as providing leadership, oversight and supervision in the Level II nursery
• Providing 15 days/month
• Living within 30 miles of hospital

Required Competencies

• Newborn resuscitation, including neonatal intubation
• Umbilical line placement and peripheral cannulation
• Lumbar punctures, etc.
