• 1st Shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.
• Monday through Friday

Location Notice: This position is currently located in Fowler, California. The facility may relocate to Visalia, so candidates must be able to commute to both locations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production Lead with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and the ability to recognize and solve production problems.

This is not a desk-only supervisory position. The Production Lead will work directly on the manufacturing floor, support employees, monitor injection-molding operations, identify problems, and help keep production running safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

Injection-molding or plastics-processing experience is strongly preferred.

The right person does not need to know everything on the first day. We are looking for someone who already has a strong manufacturing foundation, learns quickly, takes ownership, and can grow into greater technical and leadership responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support machine operators, technicians, and temporary employees.
• Work alongside the production team to keep machines and employees operating efficiently.
• Monitor production schedules, output, quality, and staffing throughout the shift.
• Identify machine, mold, material, process, and part-quality problems.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work with management and maintenance to determine solutions.
• Assist with machine setups, mold or die changes, changeovers, and production startups as qualified.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure products meet established quality requirements.
• Respond quickly to defects, downtime, safety concerns, and production interruptions.
• Coordinate with maintenance when equipment repairs or adjustments are needed.
• Train employees on job procedures, safety requirements, quality expectations, and proper equipment operation.
• Complete production records, shift reports, quality documentation, and shift handoffs.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and a positive work environment.
• Lead by example and remain actively involved on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production leadership, plastics processing, or a related environment.
• Injection-molding experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how production machinery operates.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading, training, or guiding production employees.
• Ability to recognize quality defects and respond appropriately.
• Comfortable learning mold changes, machine setups, process adjustments, and other technical responsibilities.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to take ownership of the shift.
• Able to communicate effectively with employees, maintenance, quality, and management.
• Bilingual English and Spanish abilities are helpful but not required.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, LOTO, ISO procedures, or continuous improvement is a plus.
