Your Opportunity: Label Works, a Taylor company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team! Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Shift 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am Extended, weekend and additional hours may be required. Hours of work are structured to meet service demand and the needs of our customers and their clients Your Responsibilities: Operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production/processing operation including; cutters, slitters, and shrink wrappers Assist in Shipping by pre-boxing, and preparing orders Proof read and quality check product Clean and maintain work area in compliance with safety regulations Assist in other departmental areas as work load requires You Must Have: Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization Ability to operate equipment to obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders Strong attention to detail Proof read and quality check product We Would Also Prefer: High degree of analytical skills Good color discernment Requirements Within This Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
