About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 48 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Respiratory Therapist License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) may be considered with extensive experience. Certifications: BLS required; NRP required for NICU/PICU/Peds; PALS preferred for NICU/PICU/Peds Must-Have: Experience with adult critical care, airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, and non-invasive ventilation. Familiarity with specific ventilators such as Servo U, Servo I, Hamilton T1, Trilogy, V60, V30, and EV300. Description: A start on 10/20 is needed. The position requires working with adult patients. Common patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, cystic fibrosis, ARDS, trauma/surgery, pneumonia, lung cancer, stroke, ALS, GBS, COVID-19, and RSV. Critical care-focused and protocol-driven respiratory therapy team. Voluntary call is available 2 hours before or after shift start time. Weekend rotation is every other weekend. Holidays will be assigned unless stated otherwise in the contract. Professional scrub attire is required; any color or pattern is acceptable. Access to scrub machines is provided.
