Now Hiring: Insurance Defense Attorney (Hybrid) – Los Angeles, CA

Are you an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney looking to join a collaborative and growing law firm? We are seeking a motivated attorney with 3–8 years of insurance defense experience to join our Los Angeles office. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both in the office and remotely while handling a diverse litigation caseload.

The ideal candidate will have direct file handling experience, strong litigation skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution.
  
• Handle all aspects of file management and case strategy.
  
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  
• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations.
  
• Take and defend depositions.
  
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and the court.
  
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  
• 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
  
• Direct file handling responsibility is required.
  
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
  
• Trial experience is a plus.
  
• Deposition experience.
  
• Experience handling complex insurance defense matters.
