Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, located conveniently for easy access by public transport and car. Our facility is designed with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to enhance patient outcomes. We operate in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere where open communication and mutual support are key areas of focus. Your work schedule will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring effective treatment outcomes.
• Maintain an appropriate patient load that allows for thorough evaluation and focused care during therapy sessions.
• Expertly implement orthopedic treatment strategies, drawing on previous experience and clinical best practices.
• Engage in cost-effective treatment options to maximize patient benefits while improving mobility and reducing discomfort.
• Adopt a holistic approach by emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and minimizing reliance on pharmacological interventions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring all aspects of the patient's rehabilitation are addressed.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Continue to motivate and inspire patients through their rehabilitation journey, instilling hope and promoting a positive attitude towards recovery.
• Facilitate collaborative efforts with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient-centered care.
• Consistently evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary, and appropriately document all sessions to maintain accurate patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus encompasses a diverse patient demographic, ranging from individuals recovering from sports injuries to those managing chronic pain conditions. You will work hands-on with patients of various ages, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation exercises and mobility-enhancing interventions. Building rapport with your patients and understanding their personal challenges will be crucial in facilitating their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• A strong ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, ensuring meticulous documentation practices.
• Current knowledge of contemporary physical therapy methods and practices supported by clinical research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting or similar rehabilitation environments.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
• Familiarity with patient education regarding wellness and injury prevention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
