Job Title: Office Administrator Job Description The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary. Maintain filing systems as assigned. Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions. Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment. Manage accounts receivable. Handle collections. Assist the service manager and team as needed. Coordinate shipping. Order parts. Ensure that the Troy AL location runs smoothly and efficiently. Operate a forklift (training available if required). Essential Skills Administrative support Administration Customer service Office management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing Ability to work independently Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of QuickBooks is a huge plus Work Environment The position operates within an industrial environment, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Troy, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
