MRI Department Lead

Lead MRI department operations in Newton, Kansas, coordinating workflow, performing scans, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality imaging and regulatory compliance. This role blends clinical expertise with leadership to drive patient care and departmental efficiency. Competitive salary up to $96,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily MRI workflow and scheduling
• Perform MRI scans per physician orders and protocols
• Supervise, train, and support MRI technologists and staff
• Ensure adherence to MRI safety and infection control standards
• Maintain quality assurance and optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and leadership teams
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
• Assist with departmental planning, process improvement, and staff development

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Radiography certification
• ARRT MR certification
• Active Kansas state licensure
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI systems, protocols, and safety procedures
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and team collaboration

Preferred Skills:

• 3+ years MRI technologist experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
