Hours: 80 hours per pay period
Pay: $32.67–$46.13/hour DOE
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Retention Bonus: $10,000 after 2 years with satisfactory performance

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist / MRI Tech Coordinator to support the Imaging Department and provide high-quality, patient-centered MRI services. The Lead MRI Technologist will work closely with the Imaging Director and Medical Director to support daily operations, staff development, safety, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
• Partner with the Director of Imaging to support departmental operations.
• Assist with staff meetings, training, and educational initiatives.
• Support process improvement and coordinate MRI-related activities and events.
• Provide guidance and leadership to MRI staff.
• Collaborate with the contracted research organization (AMR) to support research activities and compliance.
• Ensure MRI safety, patient comfort, and a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education/training.
• Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT Registered in MRI – required at time of submission.
• 5+ years of MRI experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Lead Technologist experience.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist license through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Additional modality registrations may be required depending on assignment.
• MRI Safety Officer Certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $32.67–$46.13/hour, depending on experience.
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.
• Retention Bonus: $10,000 after 2 years, based on satisfactory performance.
• Full-time schedule: 80 hours per pay period .
