Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in this specialty License: Active RN license in the state or a compact RN license that complies with NLC guidelines Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Recent experience in Med Surg/Tele - Level I Trauma experience - Travel experience - Large hospital experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Tele. The position involves working on a day shift, with 12-hour shifts. The nurse will provide care to patients with cardiac diagnoses, including CHF and AMI. This role will include responsibilities such as monitoring rhythm strips and administering drips per protocol. The nurse will work within a team nursing model, with a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7 during the day shift. All required RTO must be included at the time of submission. Only candidates with recent travel experience and appropriate certifications will be considered. Floating between like units may occur as necessary. Candidates must be willing to work weekends as needed. Please note that local candidates residing within a 100-mile radius will not be considered.
