Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Welder for our client. This job is responsible for performing welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal components according to specifications in a manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, stick, or other welding processes as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding instructions
• Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings for each job
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and final part tolerances
• Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of metal parts as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards
• Assist with material handling and production tasks as directed
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervision

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or stick welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic knowledge of welding safety practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
