About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Family Eye Care Children's Eye Center in Albuquerque, NM, as an Experienced Receptionist! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our young patients and their families, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and families with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in/check-out processes.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide information about services offered.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. 
• Verify patient insurance information.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support the clinical team as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using office software and multi-line phone systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
• Bilingual Preferred
