Inside Sales Representative - Gift Channel & Independent Retail

Location: Hybrid – Fremont / Seattle, WA (3 days in-office: Tuesday–Thursday)
Travel: Occasional (trade shows and industry events)
Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Monthly Sales Contests
Target Market: Independent Gift Shops, Boutiques, Pharmacies, and Local Retailers

We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who knows how to talk shop with independent business owners—from quaint gift boutiques and local drug stores to specialty lifestyle shops. If you thrive on building real relationships, closing deals, and helping main-street retailers stock products their customers crave, this is your spot.

What You’ll Do

As an Inside Sales Rep on our Gift Channel team, you’ll own a dedicated territory of independent retailers. You’ll manage existing accounts while actively prospecting to get True Brands products into new storefronts across the country.

• Drive Revenue & Grow Accounts: Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to re-engage existing retail accounts and pitch new product launches.
• Prospect New Business: Research, identify, and contact prospective gift shops, boutique pharmacies, and specialty retailers to expand your territory.
• Consultative Retail Selling: Ask the right questions to understand each shop’s customer base and recommend tailored product assortments that will turn over quickly.
• Territory Partnering: Work alongside outside sales agencies to maximize brand reach and support growth in your designated region.
• Pipeline & Account Management: Keep your CRM records squeaky-clean, track outreach, enter orders accurately, and process customer requests/RMAs efficiently.
• ​​​​​​​ Trade Show Representation: Travel occasionally to major gift and lifestyle trade shows to represent True Brands, meet retail buyers face-to-face, showcase new product lines, and drive event sales.

What We’re Looking For

• Retail or B2B Sales Experience: You have experience selling products directly to independent retail store owners, store managers, or buyers (experience in gifts, housewares, or consumer packaged goods is a huge plus!).
• Phone-First Energy: You genuinely enjoy picking up the phone, building rapport quickly, and turning a quick conversation into a purchase order.
• Grit & Goal Orientation: You are motivated by sales targets, track your metrics, and want to control your earnings through uncapped commission.
• Organization & Follow-Through: Ability to balance high-volume outreach, account maintenance, and quick administrative turnarounds without letting details slip.
• Tech Literacy: Comfort using CRM software, processing orders, and using web tools to gather prospect intelligence.
• Willingness to Travel: Open to occasional travel for national or regional trade shows to engage directly with your retail accounts and industry peers.
