Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and observations.

Create tailored treatment plans addressing immediate goals as well as enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Join forces with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design collaborative care plans.

Provide educational resources to patients and families to bolster progress outside of the therapy environment.

Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive continuity of care.

Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Engage in continuous education and peer collaboration to uphold the latest advancements within the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hiring.

Expertise in evidence-based therapies for all ages, well-versed in the intricacies of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
