Description:
Consensus Health is looking for a locum family practice physician.
The practice setting is a primary care office.
Coverage is needed as soon as possible and is to be determined.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM - 5 PM, and until 7 PM on Tuesdays.
The average number of patients seen per day is three patients per hour.
There are five physicians in the practice.
Other internal medicine physicians will provide coverage during the locum coverage dates.
One mid-level provider will be available for coverage.
The locum will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers.
The locum tenens physician will not respond to in-house codes.
The locum tenens physician will not be expected to provide backup for the emergency department.
There are 13 exam rooms available in the office.
There are no OB patients seen per day.
Services available on-site include laboratory services.
The documentation system used is Athena.
Emergency supplies available include a defibrillator.
The practice population consists of adult and geriatric patients.
Required general procedures include EKG interpretation and evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
Required medicine procedures are outpatient procedures for adults.
Required occupational medicine procedures include employment physicals and disability exams.
