Internal Medicine / Primary Care Locum Opportunity – New Jersey

Position Overview

A well-established primary care practice is seeking a physician to provide outpatient adult and geriatric care coverage. This opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with physician and advanced practice provider support, a manageable patient volume, and expedited credentialing.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesdays extended until 7:00 PM

Practice Setting

Outpatient Primary Care Office

Adult and Geriatric patient population

Athena EMR

On-site laboratory services

13 exam rooms

Clinical Responsibilities

Adult outpatient primary care

Chronic disease management

Preventive care and wellness visits

Employment physicals

Disability examinations

EKG interpretation

Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

Patient Volume

Approximately 3 patients per hour

Practice Support

5 Physicians

1 Advanced Practice Provider

Collaborative physician support available

Additional Information

No supervision of other healthcare providers required

No in-house code responsibilities

No emergency department backup coverage

Emergency equipment available on site, including a defibrillator

Qualifications

Required

Active New Jersey Medical License

Local provider

Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Preferred

Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Board Eligible candidates will be considered

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification

Credentialing

Expedited credentialing process available
