Working here, you'll feel part of a family that is dedicated to making a difference and helping others.What You'll Work OnResponsible for the overall results for a single shift of a manufacturing operations line.Coordinate activities for the shift team to ensure delivery of all key performance metrics, including those in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Quality, Finance, Productivity, and People.Lead efforts required in delivering quality and compliance performance for the shift/line of accountability.Initiate, manage, and make decisions that impact product quality. Manage budget accountability for Headcount, Overtime, and direct expenses for a shift and/or line.Track, trend, and continuously improve budgetary performance for direct expenses, headcount, overtime (OT), Operating Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), production (Unit/Hour, Pounds/Hour), Material Usage Variance (MUV), and Scrap and Cost Improvement Projects (CIP).Drive OEE performance, understand the drivers, and develop and execute plans around the improvement of line performance and quality metrics with support from the direct manager.Understand all key performance indicators, driving and executing plans for improvement through team engagement.Drive a culture of engagement through the team and department.Directly supervises the team and participates in staffing activities.Develop all line personnel by securing appropriate training, providing mentoring, and assigning progressively challenging stretch responsibilities within the scope of the team and department accountabilities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, science, food technology or engineering and 2+ years' work experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experienceProven leadership capabilitiesProject planning & execution experiencesProcess control knowledgeExperience with working on Continuous Improvement ProjectsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environmentExperience utilizing project planning and execution toolsKnowledge of FDA – 21 CFR and other regulatory requirements for Infant FormulaIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.Job Family: ManufacturingDivision: ANSC Nutrition Supply ChainLocation: United States > Sturgis : Building 01AAdditional Locations:Work Shift: StandardTravel: Not specifiedMedical Surveillance: Not ApplicableSignificant Work Activities:Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)Abbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.
