Housekeeping Manager

Location 1124 W 21ST STREET,Andover, KS, 67002-5500,United States Required Degree High school Description Manager to oversee hospital housekeeping department. Must have a working knowledge of all housekeeping practices and procedures to include infection control and chemical usage. Responsible for ensuring OSHA and State protocols are followed at all times; performs frequent quality assurance inspections; documents new hire training and ongoing annual training of procedures and guidelines. Must work alongside staff periodically; possess the ability to motivate and maintain a healthy work environment; requires addressing issues with staff, interviewing and selecting staff, conducting performance evaluations. Must be detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, and decision‑making skills, ability to react calmly and effectively in difficult, stressful, and emergency situations. Requires creating and maintaining good relationships with providers, staff and managers throughout the hospital. Requirements Two to five years as supervisor in the housekeeping field with high customer/client contact required. Hospital experience preferred.
