Why Join Us Position with opportunity to strategically improve program and work in a hands‑on capacity Financially stable business with year‑on‑year growth for the previous eight years Culture built on valuing and empowering people, and achieving goals through a superior customer experience Responsibilities Reporting to the Audit Committee Chair and managing a team of audit professionals, with oversight including bank policies and procedures, State and Federal banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDICIA, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, Customers Right to Privacy Act, Regulation D, Regulation DD/Truth in savings, USA Patriot Act, CIP, Elder Care, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and Privacy requirements This position will be responsible for reviewing the quality and effectiveness of controls within the bank to manage and mitigate risk and protect the assets of the bank Make recommendations and provide strategic advice to Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors Develop and maintain a statement of purpose, authority, and responsibility for the internal audit department Develop an audit plan based upon a risk assessment of the organization Identify, evaluate, and recommend third‑party audit consultants to perform audit projects Oversee the implementation of the audit plan and ensure it is in accordance with audit programs, as appropriate, to ensure adequate internal controls exist; policies, procedures, laws, and regulations are adhered to and audit assignments are completed in a timely manner Report findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee and/or senior management and action as necessary Monitor and report on the progress in resolving audit findings to the Audit Committee Coordinate with third‑party internal auditors & government regulators Comply with professional standards of conduct Maintain technical competence through continuing education Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.) This position is responsible for escalating suspicious activity to the BSA Officer Requirements Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree, CPA is a plus You must bring significant commercial banking audit experience You will have a strong working knowledge of GAAP, FASB, Federal and State regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Conselium Executive Search
