Restaurant Assistant General Manager

Location: Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living Compensation and Benefits Annual salary: $60,000 - $68,000 Eligibility for annual bonus Work hours: most employees finish before 9pm, promoting work‑life balance Medical, dental and vision coverage, including annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine PTO plans and paid volunteer hours according to state law 401(k) for employees 18 and over with company contribution up to 3% once eligible Education assistance and certification reimbursement Opportunities for career growth as new locations open and existing ones expand Job stability in a growing senior‑living industry Responsibilities Oversee scheduling, training, hiring, coaching, and development of all restaurant and café employees Ensure proper portioning of food, attractive presentation, and adherence to service standards Supervise cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock Ensure dining staff complies with safety regulations and company policies Participate in programs and activities designed to enhance employee and resident satisfaction Supervise multiple venues and manage large teams Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dining room management, service, and sanitation experience (up to 1 year of dietetics experience may substitute) Current Serv‑Safe certification or state‑specific equivalent required Ability to supervise multiple venues, manage large teams, and lift or move objects up to 25 pounds Availability to work weekends and holidays Knowledge of and compliance with state regulations; see note below Note: Specific state regulations and requirements may apply and take precedence over the listed requirements.
