Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Warehouse Operator to join our mail facility team Shift- 6am-2pm + occasional OT Pay- 18hr Duration- Temp to Hire Located in Grand Prairie Job Summary This role is essential in maintaining a smooth flow of stock to production by receiving, storing, and transporting materials throughout the facility. While this position involves forklift operation, it is not a full-time forklift role—team members will be on and off the forklift as needed to support daily operations. Key Responsibilities Fill requisitions for raw and base stock using written and oral instructions, including weighing raw stock on scales. Safely operate Sit-Down forklift and other plant material handling equipment to transport materials to and from production (ex: pallet jacks). Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries; verify counts, check for damage, and complete proper paperwork for inventory and pricing. Transfer acceptable stock into storage areas and assist with regular physical inventory counts. Maintain and communicate lists of low-stock items to appropriate personnel. Monitor and manage non-inventory supplies such as carbon, cartons, and pallets. Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and reorganize as needed to meet deadlines.
