Missouri Professional Development (MOPD) System Navigator - UMKC Institute for Human Development

Hiring Department Early Childhood Innovation Center in the Institute for Human Development at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Job Description The MOPD Navigator provides support to the Missouri Professional Development system. The MOPD system is the professional early childhood registry that supports the early childhood education system in Missouri. A MOPD Navigator assists system users: educators, program directors, and trainers, to engage with the MOPD system with ease. MOPD navigators will answer phone calls from system users, respond to email messages, and become experts in using the MOPD system. Duties Answering phone calls from system users to resolve system access issues in a respectful, timely manner Respond to email messages to resolve system access issues Process training documentation, including CPR/First Aid certification, individual training requests, and transcript verification Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in customer support or end user experiences. Experience in early childhood education. Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87 per hour to $23.00 per hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
