Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate law, including substantial experience with business purchases and sales, as well as corporate matters related to real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, UCC searches, and related documentation
- Draft, review, and prepare real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, title and survey summaries, and related correspondence
- Manage multi-state property portfolios and ensure compliance with state-specific requirements and filing obligations
- Order, review, and analyze title commitments, surveys, corporate records, and other due diligence materials
- Assist with corporate entity formation, preparation of organizational documents, and related filing requirements
- Coordinate and assist with commercial and residential real estate closings
- Draft local opinion letters and review loan documents related to real estate financing transactions
- Organize, maintain, and manage transaction files to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained
