Job Details Location: Shriver - Devens, MA 01434 Position Type: Full Time | Education Level: 2 Year Degree | Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year | Shift: Day | Job Category: Education Role Overview We are seeking an Admissions Counselor to join our team. This position is for a leave replacement employee, with potential to move to a permanent position. The role is a full‑time, on‑campus position with a team of six Admissions Counselors working to recruit young people from Essex, Sussex, and Middlesex counties to enroll in Job Corps. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicant eligibility and suitability for the Job Corps Program. Denies applicant enrollment and refers applicants to other educational resources. Conduct thorough assessment activities and career counseling during the admissions process. Serve as a liaison to Center staff to facilitate a seamless enrollment process and early student retention. Work closely with community agencies, employment services, high schools, trade and technical schools, and other agencies to inform prospective applicants about the Job Corps program. Act as a liaison between the Job Corps Center and community agencies, developing and maintaining referral linkages in the community. Conduct Center tours, pre‑arrival visits, and Parent meetings. Qualifications Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field and two years of related experience required. A Bachelor's degree in one of these fields preferred.
