Practice Setting

• Inpatient with assigned patient rounding
• Level 2 Trauma Center
• No requirement for hospital/surgery center privileges

Schedule

• Call coverage only - handle obstetric and gynecological calls in-house
• Admissions required; average 16-20 patients per shift

Cases and Procedures

• Low and high-risk pregnancies
• Routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and breech
• Decision-making for C-sections and managing VBACs

Requirements

• Must be board certified or eligible in OB/GYN
• Must hold a Virginia medical license
• Required certification: BLS

Travel Accommodations
