Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities Be a major contributor to achieving Hopewind’s sales targets in the utility scale market and C&I distribution channel, focusing on German market and covering the surrounding countries. Be the sales and commercial expert within Hopewind EMEA region for the requirements of utility scale projects and distribution channel. Strongly support the growth of Hopewind by developing strong relationships with the stakeholders in Hopewind’s network of EPCs, project developers, consultants, IPPs and distribution channels, ensuring their trust and loyalty to Hopewind’s solutions and products. Generate project opportunities and developing best fit solutions both on technical and commercial side. Screening RFQs and tender documents together with the commercial managers in HQ, put together best fit commercial and technical bid proposal. Participate in events like exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to promote Hopewind brand and create new business opportunities. Play a major role in setting-up processes and implementing infrastructures supporting the growth of Hopewind in the utility scale and channel business across the region. Establish necessary tools and processes to efficiently reply to tenders and maximize hit rate (Checklists, standard design, project term sheets, quoting tools, availability warranty…) Define and implement O&M concepts and Service Level Agreements. Identify the relevant system partners (PPC, MV/HV…), implement compatibility with Hopewind and establish the required relationships and processes to provide a full system solution to the customers. Qualifications A solid commercial and sales background with a bachelor’s degree from university or college, technical background is a plus, preferably in sales and marketing, business administration or electrical engineering or similar. You are business fluent in English and German. Business fluency in Spanish or French are a strong plus. Minimum of 5 years work experience in utility scale PV and ESS industry is required. You have a deep knowledge of the technical and tender requirements in the utility scale PV and ESS projects, including product specifications, grid code requirements, competitive landscape, tender requirements, etc… Proven skills in managing customer relationships with stakeholders within EPC and project development companies.
