Masco Corporation's Legal Department has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and paralegals. The Masco Legal Department strives to be a trusted business partner with corporate management and our individual business units and working closely with them to provide proactive advice and to support their strategic initiatives while performing compliance and corporate governance responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for several attorneys and paralegals, including managing scheduling, filing, drafting, expense management, and other support
- Process, handle and track incoming invoices
- Respond to inquiries from our business units, vendors, attorneys, paralegals, and other staff
- Lead projects and/or other Department goals
- Drive process improvements and develop and maintain systematic, cost-efficient legal solutions
- Create, organize and maintain electronic and paper files for new and existing legal matters
- Organize and track legal training provided to our business units
- Update Legal Department Teams and Intranet sites
- Perform new vendor set-up and onboarding
Crucial Qualifications and Skills:
- Highschool diploma
- 5+ years of administrative experience
- Work with the highest level of ethics, integrity and confidentiality

- Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, decentralized work environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently on a team of professionals with business clients, other legal department members and third-party support, including sophisticated outside counsel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, judgement, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, document management systems and other key legal programs
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Legal administrative experience at an in-house law department or outside law firm is preferred
- Notary Public license is preferred
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
