Principal Operations Program Manager

Job DescriptionMercury is looking for an experienced Principal Operations Program Manager to serve as the bridge between Operations and the P&L for sustaining programs in the Compute line of business, accountable for EAC’s, Operations BOE in support of proposals, and overall operational performance.Job Responsibilities:Serve as main point of contact for operations into the Integrated Program Team for sustaining programs – from material procurement through hardware deliveryUtilize robust framework for assessing operations content on EAC’s, including risk & opportunity evaluationManage basis of estimate process for proposal activitiesRequired Qualifications:Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal & external stakeholdersExperienced with Operations Basis of Estimates, to include experience with quick turn requirements to support labor and material requirements, and process improvements as needed.Detail oriented approach to assessing program health, risks & opportunitiesExperience managing a budgetProficient in ERP/MRP systemsBackground in at least one of the following: manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, program management, process engineeringExperience working in an IPT structureExperience leading teams and succeeding in a matrixed environmentAbility to work in a hybrid environment, based in Hudson, NHWillingness to travel >25%, with expectation for high level of travel up frontPreferred Qualification:Experience with DoD & Aerospace IndustriesProficient in Earned Value ManagementWorking knowledge of PowerBI, Mendix & advanced excel toolsThis position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
