The Night Shift Maintenance/Automation Technician Supervisor for Parenteral Manufacturing is responsible for the technical and administrative leadership of the Maintenance and Automation Team specific to night shift. The Concord site is a 24/7 facility with multiple manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Safety – Ensures that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits, and practices. Initiates and leads accident, near‑miss reviews and incident notifications. Ensures proper housekeeping procedures are maintained. Quality – Ensures the team’s compliance and meets the quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, and local procedures. Manage People Effectively – Manages daily maintenance operations across shifts up to 7 days a week, including attendance, overtime, operational issues, performance management, development planning, and reporting of results. Maintenance Excellence Ensures quality of Maintenance Execution and Return of Service. Responsible for Team Training and Development and ensuring the team is current on training prior to assigning work. Responsible for Maintenance KPI’s associated with the Team’s performance. Aligns Team Priorities to Support Production Plan. Interfaces with customers to ensure alignment. Completes weekly Practice vs. Procedure Checks. Reviews a sampling of executed Work Orders. Investigates team deviations as needed. Owns incident reporting, investigating, and corrective measures. Basic Requirements Education: High School Diploma. Experience: Five years of manufacturing or maintenance experience in a leadership/supervisory role. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Additional Skills/Preferences Previous supervisory/leadership experience required. Knowledgeable of Parenteral or Packaging Maintenance operations and processes or other GMP manufacturing experience. Formulation, Filling, Device Assembly, or Packaging Knowledge. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and feedback. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, set objectives, and meet targets. Demonstrated ability to provide high‑level customer service. Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision. Demonstrated ability in problem solving. CMMS experience desired. General understanding of PLC, HMI, and networking. Understanding of electrical concepts. Experience with Device Assembly and Packaging equipment. Ability to work effectively in pharmaceutical cleanroom environments, adhering to gowning and sterile processing requirements, including additional personal protective equipment. Additional Information Position supports a 24/7 operation and is expected to be flexible in maintaining availability for support in decision making and issue resolution as necessary to operate the facility. Must be willing to work overtime during peak periods (shutdowns, etc.). Must be willing to carry a cell phone and respond to off‑hour emergencies when necessary. Some allergens are present in the parenteral plant; mobility requirements and exposure to allergens should be considered when applying for this position. Minimal travel required. Compensation and Benefits Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $40.38 – $59.23. Full‑time equivalent employees will also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
